Ms. Cathy Pearson representing the Community Action Agency and Walk for Warmth is shown presenting Bark River-Harris student Jayme Carlson with an award for being selected as the winner of the Walk for Warmth Poster Contest sponsored by the Community Foundation For Delta County Youth Advisory Committee (YAC). Members of the Youth Advisory Committee conduct the contest with middle school students from around the county to determine the new poster used to announce the Walk for Warmth event. Members of the Youth Advisory Committee pictured are Bark River-Harris students from left are Jamison Norman, Rachel Barra, Christina Fournier, Dominick Larson and Collete Robinson. The community foundation’s youth conduct the contest and pay for its development and production as part of their community outreach and service. The Youth Advisory Committee is a permanent committee of the community foundation and is made up of student representatives from schools within Delta County.
