Alex and Barbara Chenier Endowed Fund
The Community Foundation for Delta County, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Upper Peninsula, proudly announces the establishment of the Alex and Barbara Chenier Endowed Fund.
The purpose of the Fund shall be to award one (1) annual scholarship to a Delta Schoolcraft Intermediate School District (DSISD) graduate going into the trades, in honor of Alex Chenier. The Fund shall also provide an annual distribution to the Community Foundation for Delta County for its Human Needs Program, as well as to the Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) and the Upper Peninsula Sustainable Forest & Wildlife (UPSF & W) Granting Committees for grants within Delta County only.
